IYAMW Awards Scholarship for Portland Convention

We are pleased to announce Chris Briney of Detroit, Michigan as the recipient of a $250 IYAMW scholarship awarded to offset expenses to attend the upcoming Portland Convention. Geetaji's teaching at the Convention promises to strengthen and advance the understanding of Iyengar Yoga and in specific the applications of therapeutics. Attendance benefits not only the individual, but the Iyengar Yoga community as a whole, and so we are pleased to be able to help in this way. We are looking to develop funding to be able to provide further scholarships for future Iyengar Yoga events.
